The Bridgetown Comedy Festival will be returning for its second year as the Pacific Northwest’s premiere comedy event with an incredible lineup of comedians from around the country. In its first year, the festival included performances from over 60 comedians, headlined by Ratatouille star and “Comedians of Comedy” founder Patton Oswalt. The lineup for the 2009 festival is nearly complete, and over 100 comedians have committed to perform, including standouts such as Janeane Garofalo, Maria Bamford, Jon Glaser, Todd Glass, Hannibal Buress, Pete Holmes, Dave Hill, Leo Allen, Brody Stevens, Tig Notaro, Chris Hardwick, Andy Blitz, Natasha Leggero, and Hari Kondabolu.The festival brings in top talent from cities such as Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago and New York.Unlike any other festival, there will be undiscovered talent from all over the nation on a majority of the shows.
With more than six stages running over the course of the weekend, the Bridgetown Comedy Festival provides something for everyone. Other acts include a historic cast reunion of the hit animated comedy Home Movies, in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the program’s debut.In addition to the well-known national acts participating in the festival, Bridgetown features groups who have built enormous fan bases from the ground up, such as Portland favorite, The Famous Mysterious Actor Show and Seattle’s much-lauded, People’s Republic of Komedy.This year’s festival also features award-winning hit podcasts such as The Sound of Young America best online pharmacy cialis, Comedy and Everything Else and Guys With Feelings.
